At the age of eighteen, Ty Gibson encountered the truth of God’s existence for the first time. After having been raised with a purely secular worldview and having witnessed firsthand much evil and suffering, Ty was completely opposed to the idea of a Supreme Being. “If a God exists at all,” he reasoned, “then wouldn’t that God have to be an evil kind of being to have made a world like ours?” Ty’s conversion as a teenager was founded on the answer to that question. The powerful reality of God’s love and the moral freedom God has granted humanity to relate to Him by reciprocating His love or rejecting it opened Ty’s mind to a whole new line of thought. Since His baptism in 1982 Ty has given his life to the joyous task of sharing God’s good character with as many people as possible as fast and a far as possible.

Ty is Co-director/Speaker of Light Bearers, an international publishing and teaching ministry based in Oregon State that provides shipments of truth-filled literature to the church in developing countries. More than 400 million gospel publications in more than thirty languages have been put into circulation to date. As co-host of multiple television programs, Ty is seen weekly on 3ABN leading viewers through the prophecies of Daniel and Revelation as well as other biblical books. He has authored seven books, including the bestseller, See With New Eyes, a provocative presentation of the character of God that has revolutionized many people’s lives. Ty is head-over-heels in love with high school sweetheart, Sue. They have three adult children and two grandchildren.
